Make Events yours.

Add a widget

Open Events, allow calendar access, choose calendars, then open Widgets and select Add to home screen. You can also touch and hold your home screen, choose Widgets, and find Events.

Missing calendars?

Events reads calendars shared with Android. Check account synchronization in your calendar app. Some apps keep calendars in their own storage and do not expose them to Android. Events cannot display those calendars directly.

Updates taking a while?

Android can delay background work to save battery. Open Events and tap Refresh. Check calendar permission if access was automatically removed. Events does not require an exact-alarm permission or a permanent background service.

Appearance and resizing

Choose Widgets in Events to adjust each installed widget. Light text works best on dark wallpapers; choose dark text for light wallpapers or increase background opacity. Touch and hold a widget on your home screen to resize it.
